Tate Modern - May 2000 With a combined output of 260-Watts six ND:YAG lasers were installed into the City of London School across the river from the new Tate Modern art gallery for an impressive yet subtle show to herald it's opening hosted by the BBC. A time-coded show controlled via a microwave link by Paul Cook and his lighting desk from the other side of the river gave both the BBC and a live array of celebrities a show to remember. Project Manager: Paul Green Laser show programming: Ronnie Barker Technicians: Toby Macknight and Arran Hopkins Event conceived and produced by Imagination |
